SEO consulting

Your team implements, I set the direction.

SEO advice online and in person: from a one-time session in which I diagnose the problems, through ongoing consulting for day-to-day questions, to implementation reviews and training for your team.

Who it is for

Who is SEO consulting for?

Consulting makes sense when you have people who can implement changes (a developer, a copywriter, a marketer), but you lack someone who knows what to implement and in what order. Four situations in which an SEO consultant replaces a full-time senior specialist:

01

A company with its own team but no SEO specialist

You have a developer, a copywriter and a marketer, but none of them knows SEO inside out. Technical errors, keyword cannibalization or content that misses the search intent stay invisible when nobody on the team knows what to look for. Instead of hiring a full-time SEO specialist, you pay for their time when you need it.

02

A startup or SMB with a limited budget

Full ongoing SEO means a fixed monthly budget. Consulting lets you use a specialist’s help without a long commitment: you pay per hour or for a package of sessions, not a fixed retainer.

03

An agency or marketing team that needs a second opinion

An agency does your SEO, but you want an independent review of its work, a check of a technical implementation or an assessment of the strategy before a big change. A second opinion limits the risk and does not mean you distrust the agency.

04

A company planning to hire an in-house SEO specialist

You want to hire an SEO specialist, but you do not know what to require, how to assess candidates or what terms to offer. I help prepare the job description, review resumes and put together interview questions.

What SEO consulting is

Advice, not outsourcing.

SEO consulting is a paid engagement with a specialist who diagnoses problems, sets the strategic direction and helps your team make decisions. The consultant does not take over all SEO work for you.

How is consulting different from the other services? An SEO audit is a one-time diagnosis that ends with a report: you get a document and know what to fix. Ongoing SEO is full service: I take over the strategy, content, links and reporting. Consulting sits in between: your team implements, while I set the direction, answer questions and check whether it works.

If you have a developer, a copywriter and a marketer, but you lack someone who knows SEO inside out and can lead them in the right direction, consulting is what you need. Instead of hiring a full-time SEO specialist, you pay for their time when you need it.

Consulting can take the form of a one-time “check what I’m doing” session or ongoing consulting in which I answer day-to-day questions, review implementations and help with strategic decisions. I record every session, so you can go back to what we agreed on in a week, a month or a year.

Experience

In SEO since 2012, mostly at agencies.

I know how an agency thinks, how Google works and what a small or medium-sized company needs. You get this knowledge at an hourly rate, not in an agency’s monthly retainer.

Service scope

What does SEO consulting cover?

I adapt SEO consulting to your situation. There are three formats: a one-time strategy session, ongoing consulting for day-to-day questions, and specialist reviews of implementations or content.

Format 01

One-time strategy session

What I do in detail
  • Analysis of current problems and an SEO diagnosis
  • An action plan: what to fix, in what order and what to expect
  • Competitor analysis in search results (Ahrefs, Semrush): where you have visibility gaps
  • Answers to your developer’s and copywriter’s questions
  • Session length: 90–120 minutes online (Google Meet, Zoom) or in person in Warsaw

Format 02

Ongoing consulting

What I do in detail
  • A package of hours per month, billed for the time actually worked
  • Ongoing support on content and technical matters
  • Review of website changes before they go live
  • Monitoring key metrics and reacting to Google algorithm updates
  • A monthly meeting (30–60 min) with a recording

Format 03

Specialist reviews and training

What I do in detail
  • SEO code review before deployment (Next.js, React, WordPress, platform migration)
  • Content review for SEO and for visibility in AI search (GEO)
  • Help with hiring an SEO specialist (job description, resume review, interview questions)
  • SEO training for the team: basic (copywriters, marketers) or advanced (developers)
  • Workshops on content strategy and topical maps

What you get after each session

A recording, priorities
and direct contact.

No session ends with “I’ll follow up by email at some point.” After every call you have a recording, sorted priorities and the option to come back with questions.

  • The session recording (it stays with you for good)You can share it with your developer or copywriter and go back to what we agreed on a month later without another consultation.
  • A priority list with difficulty and impact scoresThe same tool as in the SEO audit: you know where to start and what to expect from each change.
  • Free contact for a week after the sessionQuestions come up during implementation. For a week after the session I answer them without counting minutes and without an extra invoice.

Step by step

How does SEO consulting work?

Five stages: from a free intro call, through choosing the format, to the materials after the session. The first session is usually enough to have a plan for the next 3 months.

Access to data is needed only for some sessions, and setting it up takes about 10 minutes. I do not ask for access I do not need.

01

Free intro call

We talk online. You tell me about the project, the goals and the problems. Based on that, I propose a format: a one-time session, ongoing consulting or a specialist review.

02

Agreeing on the format and scope

We decide what the session focuses on: general strategy, a specific technical problem, an SEO review of content, preparing for a platform migration or training for the team.

03

Access (if needed)

If the session requires it, you give me access to Google Search Console and GA4. I send instructions on what to share and how. It takes about 10 minutes.

04

The consultation session

90–120 minutes, or a package of hours in ongoing consulting. I answer questions, analyze the data and point out the priorities. Online (Google Meet, Zoom) or in person in Warsaw. I record the meeting.

05

Materials and questions after the session

You get the recording and a sorted list of priorities. For a week after the session you can ask about details at no cost. You write to me directly, and I reply.

Pricing

How is SEO consulting priced?

The hourly rate is the same for every format. A one-time session, ongoing consulting and a pre-launch review are billed the same way: for the time actually spent, with no hidden fees for tools, travel or reporting.

FAQ

Common questions about SEO consulting

How is SEO consulting different from ongoing SEO?

Ongoing SEO is a service in which I am responsible for the SEO strategy, content, links and reporting. With consulting, your team implements the changes, while I set the direction, answer questions and we check together whether it works. Choose consulting if you have your own people to do the work and need direction. Choose ongoing SEO if you want to hand over the whole thing.

How long does a one-time strategy session take?

A standard session takes 90–120 minutes. For a complex project, such as a large website, several problems at once or entering a new market, we can arrange two shorter sessions or one longer meeting. We agree on the format and time during the free intro call.

Is SEO consulting done online or in person?

Most often online, via Google Meet or Zoom. If you prefer to meet in person in Warsaw, I will come with no extra charge. I record sessions with your consent, and the recording stays with you.

Do I need an SEO consultant if I already have an agency?

Often, yes. An independent consultant can assess the agency’s strategy and the quality of its implementations, check technical changes before they go live or catch errors the agency missed. Such a second opinion limits the risk and does not mean you distrust the agency.

What do I get after a consultation session?

The session recording, a sorted list of priorities with a difficulty and impact score for each action, and a week for extra questions after the session, without counting minutes and without an extra invoice.

When should I choose an SEO consultant instead of full ongoing SEO?

Consulting makes sense in three situations. First: you have your own team and need direction, not someone to do the work. Second: your budget is limited and a fixed retainer is beyond it. Third: you need a one-time assessment, such as a code or content review, preparation for a migration or an AI visibility audit. If you have nobody to implement the changes, ongoing SEO is the better choice.
